DANCENIGHTISOVER! )':
AHH aint it just sooo sad.
okay here's what happened on 22nd april:
i got up at 7 sth haha(: so excited couldnt help it. probably the earliest i ever got up on a sat. yess. lazed around til 10. im good at wasting precious time. had breadfast and then started packing for dance nightttt! PACKPACKPACK um foundation, mascara[fine, it wasnt mine], yellow& pink dress thing, ojos asi- red tube and is it flair or flare pants. and ofcourse the usual bun tying equipment hahahha. mann was it a loooooong wait to 3 15. err what did i do. i read the book nat lent me massie is so bitchy cant stand her. amazing, the first book ive read since i cant rmb when. textbooks excluded(x
ANYW, 3 15 came and then mummy fetched me to school(: yeah cos i didnt wanna reach there all sweaty.
i put my stuff at the holding room for 'Watch me...' which is 4a2 and THEN i went to the sec hall where ppl were sticking on fake lashes and um putting their home econs knowledge to use for shermaine's item that halter dress. uh huh(: rachel was hanging the black banner thing that read "DANCE NIGHT '06" in luminous pink outside the hall and a few ppl watching. helping. whatever. others all scattered here and there(:
everyone only started putting on makeup and costumes at 4 plus? yeah. so the once empty classroom became full of bags and yes duh people.
DINNER was at like 5 30 okaye! veryvery early for dinner at the canteen but ofcourse we all cant dance with a full stomach. it was McDonals i ate with michelle. so after that WE WENT UPPPP. to continue with makeup. mrs serena chan did our eyeliner for us, the art teacher haha. after more practices

and um.. OHYES the curtain call rehearsal again. curtain call is so cool hahahaa. like 234892572510257 [anyw, you get the idea] girls squishing on stage.
i was supposed to be in pau's costume for curtain call with grace yiling sophia and michelle BUT ojos asi is the last item so no time to change! yup. luckily mrs ang told me to join the other ojos asi dancers for curtain call in the end(: its a zaki move before a curtsie.funkaye(:
yuppp. from then til the actual dance night it was more touching up on makeup, visiting other holding rooms, one sorta marking practice, taking photos and ofcourse vanessa praying that everything will go fine on stage. THEN WE WERE OFF TO BACKSTAGE! rushrush. help ppl from the previous performance change into pau's dress and change eye shadow colour:D
mann. when i was at the stage wing the butterflies started fluttering in my tummy. SO NERVOUS.
i havent even performed on stage before unless you count ARISE in p5 at church which i dont. like the colourful lights. and blasting songs AHH=/ not to mention those 880 ppl out there watching every move you make. but when the lights dimmed and it was time to rush there before the music starts we did, and i was starting to feel not so nervous i dont know why. maybe cos all the months of practices came to those few minutes on stage.
anyw. afterall it was for God, so yeah i just danced(: except that stupid lifting part. errgh nvmd. the item went rather okay i guess. the ending pose is so... like errr. nvmd you see for yourself: (sharona's dad took it)

ahh.then after that was curtain call.when we're standing up there. theres a great feeling of accomplishment. and we wave to endless black space. hahaha really you cant see anyone or anything.
the curtain closed. and opened again.

PS. OMGOMGOMG we're gonna perform ojos asi again at the Esplanade!!! HAHAH im excited again! hahaha looking forward to that. in uh 1 month(:
